A Nite of Food and Songs

It has been a long while since I last celebrate Mother's Day with my family. The last time I was in KL during this occasion, I was puking like a waterfall so I opted to stay home than join my parents and my brother for dinner in one of the nice diner in town. I worried I won't be able to stomach the food as I was throwing up almost every hour!

Last year I was in Penang so did not get to do much except having a small celebration with my AhBeng and Darrius. Since I am in KL this time round, I am able to celebrate with my mom again.

While shopping at Jusco at Cheras Selatan a few weeks back, I came across the Parents' Day Promotion at Greenbox (a branch of RedBox KTV). So I booked a package for my family. The package includes a buffet dinner for 5 pax, unlimited serving of drinks and tit-bits, a bottle of sparkling juice, a fruit platter, a 500g cake, some vouchers, a FOC family potrait (Polaroid) and KTV room for 4 hours (6-10pm). They even gave my mom a free jar of 'special' tea and a heart shape strawberry shortcake!

All of us had so much fun! Even Darrius was enjoying himself with the unlimited serving of 'junk' food! Though the buffet spread was just so-so but the excellent service is worth that praise!
